I love building websites, and I marvel at the success in marketing them achieved through Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing. I have a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the American University in Bulgaria, and a MA in Liberal Arts/Western Classics from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM; I come with solid communication and writing skills, and I draw from long experience with WordPress, Photoshop, CSS, JavaScript, php, and all necessary web design tools. Unlike your typical technical nerd, I am a great communicator and very savvy in all aspects of web design and development, as well as content editing and organization. I listen to my clients’ needs and provide expert, patient guidance when needed (more often than not). My company works with a small, trusted team of experts specializing in branding, programming, and marketing.
I have a soft spot for non-profit organizations, as well as for writers, fine artists, photographers, and other creatives.
While in college, I was involved in starting up the first private radio station in Bulgaria, Radio AURA (which I named). Today, besides building and marketing web sites, another passion I have is for travel. I have been to many parts of Europe, Canada, the U.S., and most recently, South America. I spent a year in Florence, Italy (2006), followed by 2 months in Aix en Provence, France – where, when I was not busy building websites, I admired the art, architecture, and nature and enjoyed the good food, coffee, and wine. I also spent over a year in Vancouver, BC (2012-14) where I discovered the thrill of water sports: paddle-boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. I visited Toronto many times while my eldest child was (an artist!) attended OCAD University there. I fell in love with Madrid and Burgos while exploring Spain, and I have been visiting these amazing cities every year.
I live happily in Santa Fe, The City Different in NM, The Land of Enchantment. In the past year and a half, I have been spending a good amount of time in the Buena Vista/Salida area in the Arkansas Valley. I have several non-profit org. clients there now.
Besides travel, I love hiking, riding my bike, reading classics or historical fiction, visiting art galleries, business networking, and Happy Hours with my friends.
